My grandad was a great person i never got to meet him he passed away a day before my mams 7th birthday she was just a child, he was married to olive veronica morgan- then changed to peacock, they met when young and married on 20-04-1946, my nanna is still with us today, they had four girs together 1st was kathleen ann peacock, then 3 years later linda margaret peacock, then christine susan peacock, then a few years later alison peacock was born the youngest of them all,(my mam) The family lived at dorset avenue in barley-mow, birtley,
Edward enjoyed his greyhound racing, and training them with the girls, life was so different in those days, harder times, nd bigger familys, edward also had a great passion for horses think thats where i get it from love horses i do nd my nanna always says that your grandad coming out in you, wish i only had the chance to meet him but i geuss god took him early.

grandad wish i could of met up and you wernt the star in the sky but then the sky would have been so dull it would of been night time forever and i'm glad u can shine down on us now and you can protect us from any harm and watch over our children well done for providing us with a great family.... miss you and we will evenually meet one day xxx

hello dad hope u watching over us and taking care of all your family bet your so proud of the growing family now, thinking of you loads of the last couple of days your memory and my birthday is always a hard time to get through, but time so a healer and your my dad and no-one can ever take the memorys that i have of us when i was younger so wish i had more time with you i feel so down some times and just like to have a chat to you, been working loads lately too, booked our hols for nxt year to off to turkey for 2 weeks need a good break away, thanks for the time dad time and memory is treasured always missing you forever loving daughter alison & brian xx

hi grandad sorry i ddnt manage to get on here yesterday, i took my mam out for her birthday lunch, a treat from me, hope u are watching to make sure she has a lovely day we did yesterday like, had dinners and a look around with the kids she misses u so much and of cause i wish i had the chance to meet you but never did, time's so much harder now, life changing so much kids are growing up quicker than ever well i must dash my little one macy-lea is walking about now and is getting into everything, proper little terror, well bk soon love nd missing u always charlene, tony, nathan, and macy-lea xx

hi grandad just saying hi before i sort nathan out, been helping mam (alison) to put some pics on here, showing her the ropes, ha ha got some very old pics on here like camera's r so different now, technolgy these days, hope you like the pictures of your family and grandchildren it's growing and getting bigger i'm due for my little girl early in july, please make sure shes not late, nd let me have a good birthday really dont want to spend it in hospital, been to see my midwife today and seems im bigger than average mad like, please say hi to my auntie linda for me and take good care of her up there, and give our james a hug for me, nite nite anyway going to sort the little monster love u all xxxxxx
